Steve Gascon - Senior Pastor

Pastor Steve Gascon and his family joined ALAC in December 2015 in the role of senior pastor. Steve is married to his beautiful wife Deanna, and has two amazing (and rambunctious) boys; Hudson and Lincoln, and one sweet as pie little girl, Sawyer. Steve loves board games, sports, (especially hockey -Go Oilers! -and paintball), and together with D is an experienced scuba diver. He grew up east of Edmonton on an acreage and attended school in Ardrossan AB., before obtaining a diploma in business marketing at NAIT.

Steve was previously the Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries at Parkland Baptist Church in Spruce Grove, AB., and graduated from Taylor Seminary in Edmonton AB with a Masters of Divinity in May of 2016.

Steve is passionate about seeing people come to an understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ and enter into relationship with Him. He is looking forward to the future in Nakusp and how God will lead him and his family.

Elders

Our church is led by a board of elders who are elected out of the congregation. These elders lead, guide, protect, teach and nurture our congregation as we seek to follow God. We believe elders are called by God into these roles, and as such we take the role of elder seriously. If you ever need prayer, have questions or just want someone to talk to, please don't hesitate to contact us.
